Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Operator, address, billing provider and final plan names must be completed before public launch.

1. Provider

These Terms govern your use of MixNest, provided by [Legal name / company], [address], [country]. Contact: [support@mymixnest.com].

2. What MixNest Does

MixNest is a workspace for audio engineers and artists to upload mixes and masters, collect timestamped feedback, approve final versions and deliver finished files. Some mobile, notification, billing and support features may be introduced, changed or expanded over time.

3. Accounts and Access

Engineers may create accounts using email and password. Artists may receive access through artist codes, QR pairing, PIN setup or other invite-based methods. You are responsible for keeping credentials, devices and access codes secure. You must not share access with unauthorised persons.

4. User Content and Music Rights

You keep ownership of the audio files, comments, metadata and other content you upload or submit. By using MixNest, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display and deliver that content as part of the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share the content through MixNest.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use MixNest to upload or share content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, contains malware, attempts to bypass security, overloads the service or harms other users. We may restrict or remove access where needed to protect MixNest, users or legal rights.

6. Storage, Archive and Deletion

MixNest is designed for active review and delivery workflows, not permanent backup. Final delivered projects may be archived and are currently intended to remain available for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. You should keep your own backup copies of important audio files outside MixNest.

7. Downloads and Final Delivery

Engineers can release final files for artist download. Download links may expire, be regenerated or be restricted for security reasons. MixNest may open a download page before the file is saved, especially on mobile devices.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

MixNest may offer free, beta, trial or paid subscription plans. Plan limits may include storage, number of projects, seats, archives, download history or notification features. Before paid subscriptions are enabled, MixNest will show the price, billing interval, included features, renewal terms and cancellation options. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, paid plans may renew automatically until cancelled. Billing may be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe.

9. Beta and Availability

During beta or early access, MixNest may change quickly and some features may be incomplete. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage or error-free operation.

10. Third-Party Services

MixNest may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email, push notifications, payments and analytics. Their availability and technical limitations may affect MixNest.

11. Intellectual Property

MixNest, including its interface, design, software, branding and documentation, belongs to MixNest or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or misuse MixNest except as allowed by law or written permission.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MixNest is provided without warranties beyond those required by applicable law. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost files, missed releases or indirect damages unless liability cannot legally be limited. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory consumer rights or other liability that cannot be excluded.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using MixNest at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, payment fails after subscriptions are enabled, or continued access would create legal, security or operational risk. Account deletion may permanently remove workspace data according to the product state at that time.

14. Consumer Rights

If you use MixNest as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rights in your country remain unaffected. Additional withdrawal, cancellation or contract information may be provided before paid plans are launched.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as MixNest evolves. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires a different process.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Germany / chosen jurisdiction], without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
