1. Who We Are

MixNest is an audio review and delivery workspace for engineers and artists. The controller responsible for the processing of personal data is [Legal name / company], [address], [country]. You can contact us at [privacy@mymixnest.com].

2. Data We Process

Depending on how you use MixNest, we may process:

3. Why We Process Data

We process data to provide MixNest, secure user access, store and deliver audio files, send relevant notifications, manage the waitlist, respond to support requests, improve reliability and, later, manage subscriptions and billing.

4. Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases may include contract performance, pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests in operating and securing MixNest, consent for optional communications or push notifications, and legal obligations for accounting or compliance.

5. Audio Files and User Content

Audio files, comments and project metadata are treated as private workspace content. Engineers and invited artists can access content according to their role and permissions. Final deliveries may be made available through secure download links. Archived projects are currently kept for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, unless restored earlier or deleted according to the available controls.

6. Processors and Services

MixNest may use infrastructure and service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database and storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend or a similar provider for transactional email, Apple services for iOS push notifications, and Stripe or a similar payment provider once subscriptions are introduced. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to MixNest.

7. International Transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

8. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Account and workspace data is generally kept while the account is active. Archived audio projects are intended to be deleted after 30 days. Waitlist entries may be kept until launch communications are completed or until you ask us to remove them. Some records may be kept longer where required for security, billing, tax or legal reasons.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact [privacy@mymixnest.com].

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data and workspace content, including authentication, private storage, role-based access and encrypted transport. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

MixNest may use browser storage to keep users signed in, remember app state, cache audio availability or store preferences. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this policy and any required consent flows should be updated.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when MixNest changes, including when subscriptions, billing, analytics or mobile features are expanded. The latest version will be available in the app or on our website.
